In an interview with the New York Times, Kanye West spoke on working with Rick Rubin for some last-minute work on Yeezus. Today, the Wall Street Journal published an interview with Rubin, who spoke on his involvement on the much-anticipated release.

Rubin said that Kanye recorded vocals to five songs with just two days left before the deadline to turn in the album to the label. It also happened to be the night of his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian's, baby shower.

Kanye declared that he would "score 40 points for you in the 4th quarter," and proceeded to do just that.

In other news, the much anticipated album has finally leaked onto the internet, where it is currently the talk of the internet. Yeezus's actual release date is Tuesday, June 18.
