Remy Ma Denies Nicki Minaj’s Ghostwriting Claims: ‘It Ain’t About Who’s Bigger, It’s About Who’s Better, Stupid’
The rap feud between Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj is far from over. After Nicki accused the Bronx MC of getting her husband Papoose to write her rhymes on “shETHER,” Remy went on social media to shut down the rumors.
In an Instagram Live chat above, Remy made it clear that no one has ever written rhymes for her, period.
“Get off my d---. Yo...I don’t understand...like either y’all are trying to get my attention, or y’all think I give a f---," she said. "Coming on my page thinking I give a f--- about the next hoe ass bitch is not gonna change anything. It’s not gonna bring the dead back to life. It’s not."
Remy then addressed the Papoose ghostwriting claims.
“You know what’s so crazy? N----s [saying] Pap write for me. First of all, my husband’s dumb nice. Let’s just be clear on that," she stated. "Been dumb nice. N----s ain’t never wanna give him his props. Now, when n----s get shethered, now all of a sudden he writing my rhymes."
"Who the f--- was writing my rhymes before I met him? I met Pap after ‘Lean Back,’ after ‘Conceited,’ after ‘Whatever,’ after the ‘Ante Up’ remix, after all of my mixtapes," she continued. "Who was writing my s--- then? Like, are you f---ing dumb? And I’m bigger than you. It ain’t about who’s bigger, it’s about who’s better. Stupid."
Remy Ma's remarks followed her performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam where she brought out a number of female rappers including MC Lyte, Lil Kim, Lady of Rage, Queen Latifah, Monie Love, Young M.A. and Cardi B.
