Questlove stays grinding. The Roots' drummer's latest gig involves scoring music for a thriller/romance film, Vincent N Roxxy.

The Gary Michael Schultz-directed flick already has some star power attached to it in Zoe Kravitz and Kid Cudi. Kravitz will play a punk rocker who falls in love with a "small town loner," according to iMDB. The two end up on the run, as danger follows. Emile Hisrch (Into the Wild, The Girl Next Door) will play opposite Kravitz while Cudder will play a character named "Suga."

This won't be the first time that Questlove provided the tunes for a film -- he also led the score for Chris Rock's Top Five and for a few episodes of Inside Amy Schumer.

Questo also already has a number of projects under his belt. While the annual The Roots Picnic is set to take place in Philadelphia in June, he also continues to serve up nightly jam sessions at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Questlove likely got his "tireless work ethic" from his dad, who unfortunately passed away last week. In a tribute to his father, Questlove shared a touching message on Instagram.

"For every backstage experience. For every drum lesson. For giving me your tireless work ethic. For our father & son record binging expeditions. For our arguments over the summer I discovered #ItTakesANationOfMillions. For the look on your face when I told you ‘imma give this rap thing a try’ (I waited til our 2nd album to have this convo btw) For the look on your face 5 years later when I told you ‘you don’t have to work no more.’ For the look on your face when a year later I was like ‘Seriously dad, you don’t have to work anymore!'” it read.
