Get excited Prince fans! Some of Prince's earliest studio recordings are getting remastered to be released as a 3xLP vinyl set.

The recordings come from a time when the late icon stayed at the home of his schoolmate, Andre Cymone and recorded with Pepe Willie's band, 94 East, during the late seventies. At the time, Prince was just a 19-year-old. But that didn't stop his musical genius. In the recordings, Prince plays just about every instrument. The collectable set will also come with an exclusive interview with Pepe Willie.

This was, of course, before Prince went on to become a cultural icon with 1982's 1999 and 1984's Purple Rain. But the reissue isn't the only cause to 'get crazy.' Prince's official tribute concert is also underway with several A-listers set to take the stage to honor The Purple One.

Stevie Wonder, Christina Aguilera, Chaka Khan, John Mayer, Tori Kelly, Anita Baker, Doug E. Fresh, Luke James, Bilal, Mint Condition, Morris Day & the Time, Judith Hill and Liv Warfield and the New Power Generation with keyboardist Morris Hayes and members of 3RDEYEGIRL are scheduled to participate in The Official Prince Tribute: A Celebration of Life & Music on Oct. 13 in St. Paul.

The reissue is set to go on sale on Oct. 21. It's also available for pre-order here.
