Fresh off of releasing his new album 'War Report II' as one-half of Capone-N-Noreaga, Noreaga is pulling out the big guns for his next solo release 'Superthug.' The Queens native recently spoke on plans for his upcoming LP, stating that he's scheduled to link up with veteran producer DJ Premier to remake Gang Starr's classic joint 'Dwyck,' a track featuring Nice & Smooth that Premo produced for the group's album 'Hard to Earn' back in 1994.

"It's gonna be that beat, redone," N.O.R.E. told XXLMag.com of the remake, for which he is yet to select guest appearances. "I have not chosen [who to reach out to]. I would like y'all ideas; who should I put on? Let's get the new era MCs, let's give them a chance to pay respect, to pay homage."

Noreaga is the latest emcee to pay homage to the fallen Guru, with Group Home recently announcing that they would release an entire album dedicated to the late rapper. That album, 'G.U.R.U. (Gifted Unlimited Rhymes Universal),' is set to be released on September 28 via indie label Babygrande Records.

N.O.R.E. announced the news of his sixth solo album, 'Superthug,' formerly titled 'N.O.R.E. Pt. 2: Born Again,' via his vlog. Prior to the announcement, he released the album's lead single 'Nutcracker,' named after a popular alcoholic drink in New York City. The track, produced by Scoop Deville, samples Public Enemy's 'Can't Do Nuttin' for Ya Man,' showcasing the grittier sound that listeners can expect to hear on the LP.
