Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday’ Leaks Online
Nicki Minaj's debut album 'Pink Friday' has been leaked online, less than one week shy of its scheduled Nov. 22 release date.
In addition to a handful of previously leaked tracks –- 'Right Thru Me,' 'Roman's Revenge' and 'Your Love' -- full versions of the new songs 'Fly' featuring Rihanna, 'Blazin' featuring Kanye West and 'Moment 4 Life' featuring her Young Money pal Drake, have also hit the 'Net. Early Wednesday morning, Nicki tweeted to fans, writing "Tap you neighbor and say #itsPinkFridayHoe," hinting that she might be aware of the album's premature debut.
During an interview for her current Billboard cover story, the 25-year-old rapper revealed that the leak of her hit song 'Your Love' was a low point in her career. "I didn't like the song and I didn't put it out," Nicki explained. "Someone stole it out of the studio and put it on the Internet and I cried because I was mortified. I was humiliated and remember telling Drake, 'This is going to ruin my career." It frankly did the opposite; the song eventually climbed to No. 4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
'Pink Friday' will find its way into stores on Monday, Nov. 22 for an official release.
