Nicki Minaj's brother, Jelani Maraj, has been arrested and charged in Long Island, N.Y., for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl. Maraj, who got married in August, was arraigned on a first-degree rape charge but was later freed from a Nassau County jail on $100,000 bail on Thursday (Dec. 3).

"The victim was someone he had access to," a source close to the case said, according to the New York Daily News. The 32-year-old's brother is due back in court on Wednesday (Dec. 9).

This must hit hard for the "Anaconda" rapper who said she loves her brother "more than [he'll] ever comprehend," in a Instagram caption on his wedding day.

In another post, she wrote some more beautiful words from her brother including a quote from Monica's "For You, I Will."

"I would cross the ocean for u. I would go & bring u the moon. Promise u. For u I will," reads the caption, adding, "I love my brother so much man. Can't believe I cried during his wedding and his first dance like a punk. May God bless him and his union. Tonight has been one of my favorite nights of all time. I do anything to see my brothers smile."

Minaj, who's crafting a TV show based on her childhood, has yet to make a public statement regarding the matter.
