Nicki Minaj's career continues to be on an upward trajectory and now the hip-hop diva will appear as the musical guest during 'Saturday Night Live' on January 29.

'The Social Network' actor Jesse Eisenberg -- who received the award for Best Actor by the National Board of Review of Motion Pictures for his portrayal of Facebook creator Mark Zuckerberg -- will host the January 29th episode. Both Eisenberg and Minaj will be appearing for the first time on the NBC sketch comedy show.

While it's unclear what Minaj is set to perform, it's likely the rising rap star will rhyme her hits 'Right Thru Me' and 'Moment 4 Life,' which she performed earlier this week on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show.' Fans will have to wait until the end of the month to see what the ultimate Harajuku Barbie pulls out for her premiere 'SNL' show, but they may not have to wait much longer for a new video.

Minaj revealed last week on E!'s 'Fashion Police' that she shot the video for 'Moment 4 Life' a few weeks prior. During that same week, Minaj teamed with celeb friend Rihanna to film the 'Pink Friday' collaboration 'Fly,' amid rumors that the pair were more than friends.

"I don't know where people got this really insane, hilarious, random rumor that she and I were living together," she told Ryan Seacrest on his radio show. "We just shot the video for a song I have on the album I have called 'Fly,' and when I saw her, the first thing I said was, 'So, did you hear we're living together?' and we just started cracking up laughing. She was like, 'Yo, I can't believe that people are, like, this ridiculous. So we TwitPic'd ourselves, and she put it on Twitter and said 'Me and Nicki at our new pad' or something."

While we don't know what will happen first -- the release of one of Minaj's videos or the SNL performance -- we're sure it'll involve a multi-colored wig and something pink.
