No stranger to the finer things these days -- she's practically the unofficial spokeswoman for high fashion shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti -- Nicki Minaj got candid for cameras during her super chic photo shoot with NYLON. The femcee, who made the fashion magazine's annual October "It" girl issue, opened up about her upcoming tour and debut album, 'Pink Friday.'

Nicki described the album's sound to NYLON as hip-hop/pop-chic. With the release date only a month away, there's no denying that she's already amassed the same success and hype it takes other artists three or four albums to obtain. During a recent visit to "Live! Regis & Kelly,' host Regis Philbin even referred to her as "bigger than Lady Gaga." As NYLON TV spoke with Nicki, the camera offered glimpses of Barbz in a variety of outfits from her shoot, including leopard berets, half gloves and multicolored spandex. When asked what's the one item she can't live without, Nicki replied "makeup wipes," as once the lights and cameras fade, the warpaint comes right off.
