Nicki Minaj Graces Cover of KING Magazine
Nicki Minaj's rising popularity has landed the animated rhymer on the cover of KING magazine's March/April issue, showing off some of her most talked about assets.
The 'Pink Friday' rap star graces the front of the men's publication, dressed in a black lace bra and high-waisted undies. While loyal supporters know Minaj more for her kooky facial gestures, here she sports a piercing gaze sans a smile. In her interview, the 'Moment 4 Life' performer dishes about moving from behind the microphone to the silver screen.
"I'd like to play someone in a Tim Burton movie, where I get dressed up and painted and crazy," she reveals. Not a far cry for a woman who wears rainbow-colored wigs on the regular.
Minaj also detailed the action role she'd like to play, similar to that of Angelina Jolie's character in the film 'Salt.' "Yes! And then I'd like to just play a regular girl who, you know, is facing the world," Nicki says. "Something really sentimental and organic, that girls all around the world can identify with. You know, how Jada Pinkett Smith did in 'Jason's Lyric.'"
In true KING fashion, Nicki couldn't endure a Q&A session without talk of the men she fancies. Though she didn't mention any names, the Queens native admits she wants an aggressive guy, behind closed doors, of course. "I look for someone who is calm, someone who is strong enough to not have to win every argument, someone who allows a woman to be her crazy self and someone with a conscience not to feel less of a man. You know, someone who is able to honor his woman but also bring out the freak in his woman."
