Nicki Minaj is standing by her man, Meek Mill. The "Anaconda" rapper testified on his character during the Maybach Music Group rhymer's probation hearing in Philadelphia on Thursday (Dec. 10).

"He doesn't have a lot of structure. He can be irresponsible," she told the judge. "Since I've come in his life, I think I've been working on that a little bit. He's just getting accustomed to being an adult."

Minaj also explained that Mill "never purposefully goes against rules" and that he "absolutely wants to make this a smooth transition." They've even moved in together and have started to talk seriously about marriage, said the 33-year-old rhymer.

Mill, who gave Minaj a huge diamond ring this week, would also leave behind a lonely girlfriend if he's sent to jail -- causing Minaj to have a huge incentive to keep him on the right path.

"She's not going to be the one sleeping alone if he goes to jail. I am," said Minaj while referring to Mill's parole officer. "He's not perfect, but I can't believe how much he's changed."

Mill served eight months in prison on gun and firearm charges in 2009. Afterwards,  he was sentenced to five years of probation, but in 2013, he broke parole. He was then sentenced to an additional five months of probation.

At the hearing, Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley threatened to send Mill back to jail when the hearing resumes on Dec. 17. She said the 28-year-old rapper submitted a questionable urine sample.

We hope it works out since Mill's lawyer told the judge that Minaj won't marry a "criminal or a bum." And "I'm a Boss" rapper can't afford to take any more L's this year. Stay tuned.
