Mita Sneaker x Asics Gel Lyte III ’25th Anniversary’

Leave it to mita to go all out for their 25th anniversary with a commemorative shoe. The Japanese retailer pulled in Asics to craft a pair that can push any young adult past their quarter-life crisis.

Striking white stitches hold two shades of blue suede together and flashes of red hit the ankle and outsole. The sockliner gets a slightly quilted feel that is echoed a bit in the use of white mesh on the medial side panel as well. The look is finished off with a chain link insole that should be recognizable to anyone who has ever been to their website.

These will be available at mita on Jan. 24 and are limited to only 1,990 pairs. If you don't get the significance of that amount here's a hint: 2015 minus 25 equals...
