The water crisis in Flint, Mich., is a complete disaster and the city desperately needs money and clean water to fix the problem. Rapper Meek Mill stepped up and challenged fellow rappers to help the residents of Flint by donating money and other necessities.
On his Instagram page, the Philadelphia rapper announced that he donated $50,000 to get bottled water sent out to Flint, Mich. Meek then encouraged his rap rival 50 Cent, who has been obliterating him on the ‘Gram with memes, to match his donation. “Let’s see if we can have @50Cent match me! I’m pretty sure ‘flint’ support us!” he wrote. “Not even just him all entertainers! I ain’t got the time posting memes and s---...Way too trill for that.”
Unfortunately, Fiddy wasn’t having it and, instead, kept posting vicious memes about him. “You know you only trying to donate so you can try and use it in court [s---]head. You don't have money to give away. When Nikki find out you playing with her money boy, oh boy your in for it,” 50 responded on Instagram.
Detroit native Big Sean expressed concern about Flint's water crisis and tweeted that he will do everything he can to help the residents. Meanwhile, Diddy posted a video on his Instagram page about Flint's water problem. There's no official word if the rap mogul donated money or bottled water.
