Lupe Fiasco is lending his hip-hop skills to New York-based non-profit Transform America for a good cause. The Chi-town MC will headline a benefit concert at New York City's Terminal 5, with proceeds from the concert directly funding the organization's upcoming Moving Minds Mentorship and Youth Council program, which will help create social justice initiatives in the Big Apple.

Since the addition of Fiasco to the show's lineup, other socially conscious New Yorkers and national-touring hip-hop acts have come out of the woodwork to assist with the event. Brooklyn, N.Y.-based singer-songwriter Maya Azucena will showcase her worldly voice and multi-genre tunes from her September 2011 release 'Cry Love' inside Terminal 5's big room.

Spoken word artist and Lupus advocate Shanelle Gabriel will also perform while New York-via-Florida-based rap crew Dead Prez will light up the stage with their rhymes , making for an excellent live experience.

Tickets for the Transform American show are running at $50 for general admission and $100 for VIP. Head here for tickets before they run out.
