A fire broke out Wednesday at the Atlanta home of rapper/actor Ludacris. Although the main property was spared the pool house burned down.

The rapper was not at the residence at the time of the blaze. A male relative was in the basement when the fire started but was not injured. A neighbor alerted authorities of the fire.

According to Gregory Chambers, a spokesperson for the Fulton Country Fire Department the fire took approximately 30 minutes to extinguish.Chambers described the blaze as a "significant fire" and went on to say that the size of the pool house was "bigger than most homes." Authorities gave no immediate cause of the fire and an investigation is pending.

Ludacris has yet to release a statement on the matter and is currently gearing up for the November 11 release of his album 'Theater of Mind.'
