Lil Reese Arrested on Gun Charges

Bad news for Lil Reese fans. The Chicago rhymer was arrested on Monday (July 28) on gun charges.

According to the Cook County Sheriff's office, Reese, whose real name is Tavares Taylor, was picked up by police on alleged felony possession of a firearm. Circumstances surrounding his arrest are not immediately known.

Reese's latest run-in with the law adds to his already long criminal history, which could keep him behind bars for quite some time.

In May 2010, Reese pleaded guilty to burglary charges and received two years of probation. Last year, the 'Since a Youngin'' rapper was arrested for criminal trespass, battery, mob action and marijuana possession.

Attorneys for Lil Reese had no comment on the matter.
