For years, Lego kits have been a favorite toy for children and adults to play around with and build imaginary creations. A creative new Tumblr page called Lego Albums is fast-becoming a hit on the Internet.

The website boasts some dead-on recreations of influential album covers. Seventeen-year-old music enthusiast Harry Heaton has designed over 100 LP covers from different artists and decades. From the Beastie Boys’ 'Licensed to Ill' artwork (see above) to Jimi Hendrix’s cover of 'Band of Gypsys' to A$AP Ferg’s 'Trap Lord,' he covers many genres of music -- although we didn't see any jazz or country album covers. Nevertheless, his Lego creations are beautiful to look at and some are worthy of hanging up on your wall.

Since the website's inception about a week ago, it’s been racking up thousands of followers and his designs are getting major re-blogging love on Tumblr. Check out 10 Awesome Lego Album Covers.
