Reach Records rapper Lecrae has tapped DJ Don Cannon and No Malice -- formerly Malice of The Clipse -- for his forthcoming mixtape Church Clothes, due May 10. Beatwork on the effort will come from producers 9th Wonder, Bio 1-Da, S1 and Street Symphony.

"This mixtape is aimed at the mainstream and is raw uncut hip-hop," Lecrae states. "This is totally different from my past releases and I hope can build a bridge between my current fans and create new ones."

The beliefs of the hip-hop artist, who earned a Grammy nomination at the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards for his fourth studio LP Rehab, are what prompted Cannon to join forces for the mixtape. "What interested me was that he feels so strongly about his beliefs and I am the same way," states DJ Don Cannon. "Its something special in music to be able to stand up in this industry and bring the people something different."

Lecrae will begin work on his fifth album, Gravity, this summer as well as preparing for the Unashamed Tour.
