Kid sistejr and Nicki Mina

It looks like there is some jealousy brewing between Chicago rapper Kid Sister and Miss Harajuku Barbie herself, Nicki Minaj. In a recent interview, Kid Sister questioned if Minaj was even worthy of the buzz she's receiving. "I think Nicki Minaj is awesome," she started. "She has a cute little look but my thing is, do people take her seriously? I'm not being funny. I'm just asking a question. That whole thing like, 'I want more cheese, lots and lots of cheese' -- do people make fun of her?"

Kid Sister shot to fame with her single 'Pro Nails' featuring Kanye West and may be climbing her way up the pop culture ladder but declared that she is in a better position than Minaj. "Do I have it harder? No, I think I have it easier,"
the 29-year-old femcee continued. "Harder in the sense that maybe the pop world doesn't know how to interpret me, but easier in the sense that I know my music comes from me and it's a clear and perfect projection of everything I am. It's not only because I have control, but it's because that's the only music that can comfort me. I don't know how to be anyone else. I can only really speak to myself and my own experiences, so if that means I'm talking about playing some dude bogus or f---ing it up at a party, that's literally the life that I live."

This isn't the first time that Minaj has been thrown shade by other female emcees. Youngster Lil Mama also weighed in on the Queens-bred rapper's sexed up persona. "What she represents, I don't represent," Mama said in an interview. "As the voice of the young people, Lil Mama, I focus on bringing up young girls to respect their bodies, respect [themselves] do it up."

Criticism aside, Minaj is undoubtedly one of the hottest female rappers on the scene. Besides appearing on tracks with Usher, Robin Thicke and Mariah Carey, she is also a member of Lil Wayne's Young Money Crew. The group released their compilation album 'We Are Young Money,' earlier this month.
