Americans have watched many a singer struggle to deliver the National Anthem live, and Keri Hilson is just the latest victim to the tricky song.

Hilson was enlisted to perform 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at an Atlanta Hawks basketball game on Wednesday, March 31, but the R&B singer had some trouble getting the lyrics straight. Despite her obvious, flub, however Hilson kept right on singing, and later tweeted about her faux pass, writing it off to technical problems with her in-ear pack. "LMAO bad sound can really distract U!!" she wrote. Hilson didn't seem too stressed about the slip. "Well it happened 2 Aretha & the best of em!! EEK!!" she wrote, confusingly comparing herself to the legendary diva Aretha Franklin.

She later followed up, letting fans know that they could catch an encore performance of 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at an upcoming baseball game. "Oh yea! My next Ntn'l Anthem's Def airing!! Catch Red Sox/Yankees game this (Easter) Sunday!! I'd love for everybody to catch take 2!!" she wrote on Twitter. Handled like a true professional.
