Montreal-bred producer, Kaytranada's standout album, 99.9% continues to rack up critical-acclaim, this time in the form of one of Canada's top honors, the 2016 Polaris Music Prize.

The album, which is an eclectic mix, sprinkled heavily with elements of hip-hop, disco, soul and house music, is certainly among the best of the year. Released in May, it features everyone from Vic Mensa ("Drive Me Crazy") to Phonte ("One Too Many"), Anderson. Paak ("Glowed Up") and Craig David ("Got It Good").

Upon hearing the news that his album won the Polaris Music Prize, the 23 year-old went on Twitter to share his surprise, tweeting, "Wow, this sh-- is crazy."
