Kanye West Talks Wedding Date, Leftover ‘Yeezus’ Songs

Kanye West opened up about his relationship with his fiancee Kim Kardashian, his design company DONDA and his 'Yeezus' album during a near two-hour interview with Big Boy on Los Angeles radio station Power 106FM.

During their chat, Yeezy revealed that he planned the whole marriage proposal at the AT&T Park baseball field, which included a 50-piece orchestra and a Jumbotron screen reading "Please Marry Me."

"I was nervous a little bit, about everything happening exactly on cue," he said about the surprise engagement. Although, there was only one mistake. "They didn't have the lights exactly like how I wanted," he frowned.

We don’t think anyone noticed, Kanye.

The self-proclaimed "creative genius" also boasted that he hired four different jewelers to design a 15-carat diamond ring that would be perfect for his soon-to-be wife. Ultimately, West made the right choice because there is a phenomenal mountain-sized sparkler on Kimmy’s ring finger.

"Three rings were made, and only one actually hit the finger," he said. "I actually changed the ring the night before. That ring was less than four hours old when I gave it to her."

As for the wedding date, West hopes to tie the knot with his future bride by next summer. "I only got two words in my mind, and that's fighter jets," he said.

Elsewhere in the interview, the G.O.O.D. Music leader revealed that outtakes from the 'Yeezus' recording session could make its way onto a project by year’s end.

"It’s like five songs that didn't make it on 'Yeezus' that we might put out later this year," he said.

According to Billboard, this corroborates an interview with Rick Rubin in which the legendary producer originally thought there would have been 16 tracks on the now 10-song album.
