Kanye West Says He’s Producing Nas’ New Album, Due Out in June
Kanye West has shaken things up with his surprise return to Twitter last week. From declaring that he was writing a book in "real time" with his Tweets, to announcing both a solo album and a joint album with Kid Cudi coming in June, to catching a wave of backlash when he said he likes the way conservative pundit, Candace Owens, thinks, Kanye's Twitter antics have been nothing if not eventful.
Now, he's said that all the music he's been tweeting about, he's hands on producing—and that includes a new album from Nas. He even joked that he's been "chopping samples from the sunken place," capping it with a crying laughing emoji.
Kanye tweeted that Nas' new album will arrive during the summer months as well, on June 15. So far, Kanye says he's producing the following records: Pusha T's long-awaited album, King Push, due out on June 1, his collaborative album with Kid Cudi on June 8, Nas on June 15, and Teyana Taylor's anticipated project on June 22nd, which the singer previously said has been done for months.
After making that Nas announcement, Kanye went right on tweeting—this time about how fun it is to drive a Telsa. At any rate, sounds like we could be getting some new music soon leading up to the releases.
