Kanye West is postponing his Yeezus tour due to damaged equipment crucial to the creative vision of the show.

On Wednesday (Oct. 30), a truck traveling to Vancouver was carrying custom-made video equipment and a 60-ft circular LED screen. After the truck was involved in an accident, the equipment was damaged "beyond repair," according to a statement given by the superstar's rep. Until the gear is fixed, tour stops in Vancouver, Denver and Minneapolis dates have been postponed until further notice.

"This gear is central to the staging of the Yeezus Tour, and central to the creative vision put forth by Kanye West and his design team at DONDA," the release states. "Kanye West will not compromise on bringing the show, as it was originally envisioned and designed, to his fans."

The Yeezus tour has been lauded for its elaborate costume changes, backdrops and special effects.

Further details on the affected tour dates will be announced shortly.
