Comedian Dave Chappelle has an impressive lineup of guests for his remaining shows at New York's Radio City Music Hall, but on Friday (June 20), he had one unannounced guest show up.

Kanye West made a surprise appearance at Chapelle's gig and performed three songs, according to Complex.

Yeezy rapped 'New Slaves,' 'Jesus Walks' and 'Gold Digger,' where he jumped offstage and performed in the the crowd for a minute.

This is the second of several shows Chappelle is performing at Radio City. Among the musical guests making an appearance next week include Nas, the Roots, Busta Rhymes, DJ Premier, Janelle Monae and Erykah Badu.

Last week, Chappelle discussed for the first time on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon' the day he knew that West would be a star. It all went down in the edit room.

“We go into the edit, and this is when everyone knew Kanye was gonna be a star,” he recalls. “We show them the Rick James sketch and all these other sketches. And in the middle of it, Kanye’s phone rings. He said, ‘Hello. No, no I can’t. No because I’m at the edit for the ‘Dave Chappelle Show,’ watching sketches no one’s seen before.’ And then he goes like this, ‘Because my life is dope, and I do dope s---’ and he hung up the phone.

Ten years later, Kanye West is one of the most polarizing figures in hip-hop. Who knew?
