Kanye West Moves Up Album Release Date

Fan's won't have to wait too much longer for the new Kanye West album '808s and Heartbreak.' The rapper announced via his blog that he has moved the date up from December 16 to November. 'I changed my album to November something 'cause I finished the album and I felt like it. I want ya'll to hear it as soon as possible,' West said in the blog entry.

This new release date comes on the heels of an impending "album showdown" between West and 50 Cent, who recently mocked West's first single 'Love Lockdown' during a concert in Albany, N.Y. Similar to last year's publicity stunt, the two were set to release albums within one week of each other. 'Love Lockdown,' which the rapper/producer debuted at this year's MTV Video Music Awards, is currently #1 on Apple's ITunes singles chart.

Aside from his own music West is also producing tracks for Jay-Z's upcoming 'Blueprint 3' album.
