Kanye West was being Kanye when he took the stage during his Saint Pablo tour last night (Nov. 17) and proceeded to tell the crowd that he would've voted for Donald Trump-- you know, if he had voted at all.

"If I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump," he says, after speaking for about 25 minutes on his disappointment with American politics.

Of course, Kanye's heartfelt confession was promptly and appropriately met with a swarm of boos.

Since Trump's election, Muslim, black and Latina women have been harassed by racists, Hispanic and black kids have been taunted with racial insults and acts in local schools, one person was killed in Atlanta, and the list goes on an on. The Southern Poverty Law Center says more than 400 incidents of hateful harassment have taken place since Trump was elected. Beyond that new reality, it's being reported (by far too few outlets) that Russia hacked the election.

With all of that, you'd think 'Ye would've considered the backlash of voicing his support of Trump. While Kanye admitted that his management warned him against telling anyone about his pro-Trump stance-- clearly he didn't take heed.  He later attempted to clarify that a vote for Trump doesn't mean that he doesn't care about black people, unlike, say George W. Bush.

"That don't mean that I don't think that black lives matter," he said. "That don't mean that I don't believe in women's rights. That don't mean that I don't mean in gay marriage. That don't mean that I don't believe in these things because that's the guy that I wanted to vote for."

He continued, "Not one or the other candidate was going to instantly be able to change [racism] because of their views," he said at the end of the show after telling fans: "Stop focusing on racism. This world is racist, okay? Lets stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It's just a fucking fact. We are in a racist country. Period."

He also said that he's running for president in 2020 to which the free world replied: "No thanks."
