Kanye West's upcoming projects have been a bit more secretive since the super producer stopped tweeting photos of himself at work on new music, but according to tweets from Young Money rapper Short Dawg, Kanye has been spending some time in the studio with Lil Wayne.

On Sunday (Jan. 9) Short Dawg took to Twitter to alert his followers that Kanye and Wayne were at work on new music, writing, "#Studio w/ @liltunechi @mackmaine & @kanyewest ... the moment before it happens." The Young Money rapper didn't reveal any further details on the collaboration, but the new track will likely appear on Wayne's upcoming album 'Tha Carter IV.' Following his release from jail, Wayne dropped his single '6 Foot 7 Foot' featuring Cory Gunz, from the highly anticipated album.

Although the two have not teamed up on any recent work, this would not be the first time that Kanye and Weezy have collaborated on a track. Wayne appeared on Kanye's 'Graduation' album with a verse on the song 'Barry Bonds,' while Kanye returned the favor on the remix to Wayne's 2008 hit 'Lollipop.' 'Tha Carter IV' has no scheduled release date as yet.
