Nice guys finish last -- even if they've got the moves -- in the video for singer Jovanie's infectious new single "Whip."

Surrounded by a crew of friends, the 14-year-old Atlantic Records signee flexes his dancing skills on the court while simultaneously trying to win the affection of a curly-haired cutie.

"Baby why you playing with me / I know you feeling me / You trying to keep it low-key / But your boy bet he can't do it like me," he sings on the Featherstones production. While he doesn't get the girl this time around, the "To be continued" message leads us to believe part two of the visual will have him coming out on top.

Don't sleep on Jovanie, who mixes youthful charm with talents beyond his years. The Brooklyn, N.Y. native has been steadily making a name for himself with songs like 2013's "Heartbreaker" and even landed a role in Wale's "The White Shoes" video.

Next up, "Whip" will appear on Jovanie's forthcoming project, What's the Move, Pt. 2, due Oct. 30.
