John Legend graced the 2014 Grammy Awards red carpet in a black Gucci suit with his wife Christine Teigen by his side. He gave some insight about working with Kanye West on his Grammy-nominated album 'Love in the Future,' which is nominated for Best R&B album.

“He just wanted it to be really sexy and soulful and bring R&B back to where it needed to be,” the singer explains.

The 35-year-old piano player also gave some insider details about his wedding in Italy last year, which featured a surprise performance from a singer Legend grew up admiring.

"Stevie Wonder... he came up and did an impromptu version of Ribbon in the Sky,” Legend reveals. The moment was ironic for Legend because he would perform the song at wedding gigs before he became famous.

The 'Made to Love' crooner was nominated for Best R&B album, an award that went to Alicia Keys for 'Girl On Fire.' Faith Evans' 'R&B Divas,' Chrisette Michelle's 'Better' and TGT's 'Three Kings' were also up for the award this year.
