John Legend and The Roots — Behind the Sessions Video

Less than 12 hours after wrapping up an amazing -- and free -- show in Brooklyn, N.Y., John Legend and The Roots arrived at AOL's Manhattan studio bright and early in the AM to tape Sessions in support of their upcoming collaborative album 'Wake Up!'

While it was Legend's third time filming an AOL Sessions (fourth if you count his guest appearance during Kanye's first Sessions taping), this time around things would be a little different because the singer-songwriter/pianist would be sharing the stage with the legendary Roots crew. Legend and the crew performed the project's lead single 'Wake Up,' along with 'Hard Times,' 'Little Ghetto Boy' and the album's sole original track, 'Shine,' off the upcoming 'Waiting for Superman' soundtrack.
