President Obama has selected Dartmouth College president Jim Yong Kim as his nominee to be the next World Bank leader. Dr. Kim may also be a global health expert but digging through medical statistics isn't the only activity he enjoys; he also raps.

The Korea-born father of two showed off his rhyming skills during a rendition of "Time of My Life," a show starring the Dartmouth Gospel Choir, which was put on last March. The show was part of an "American Idol"-style competition at the college called "Dartmouth Idol."

During the performance, which is shown in a video below, Dr. Kim appears wearing a studded white leather coat, neon green glowing bracelets, futuristic glasses, fingerless gloves, a white hat and glowing black T-shirt. He's surrounded by performers as he sings the beginning lyrics to "Time of My Life." However, he gives the song some hip-hop spunk when he marks a transition by shouting out "Dirty bit," and rhyming to the tune of the Black Eyed Peas' 2010 hit 'The Time (Dirty Bit).'

"I came up in here to rock, light a fire, make it hot/ I'm here rootin' for my idols up here giving all they got/ So come on, let's go/ The show is out of control/ The house is hot tonight/ Go go, big green, go go!" he raps.
