Top Dawg Entertainment may have been riding high after label star Kendrick Lamar enjoyed such a successful night at the Grammys, but K. Dot's labelmate Jay Rock was hospitalized shortly thereafter following a grisly motorcycle accident. TDE CEO Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith tweeted about Jay's condition shortly after the telecast.

"Pray 4 @jayrock he had a bad accident on his motorcycle.. He's hurt pretty bad... #TDE," he tweeted.

"[Jay Rock] is not in a coma or near death...a lot of broken bones...," he continued.

Jay Rock underwent surgery Tuesday and appears to have a long road of recovery head of him. Tiffith once again offered an update via Twitter and asked that fans respect the severity and seriousness of the situation.

"My guy @JayRock just got out of surgery and he's doing fine..." Top Dawg shared. "Thanks 4 all the prayers.. Ppl please stop showing up at the hospital #TDE"

"I will keep y'all updated," he added via Instagram.

Jay Rock released his debut album Follow Me Home in 2011 and was famously featured on Kendrick Lamar's major label debut good kid, m.A.A.d city on the hit "Money Trees" in 2012. He dropped his 90059 album last year.
