Hit-Boy won big at the 2013 Grammy Awards, collecting a trophy along with Jay-Z and Kanye West for Best Rap Song for "N**as In Paris," which he produced.

And while he was certainly grateful for the win, it may be the work he's putting in right now that will lead him to more trophies down the line.

"The thing I'm most excited about is M.I.A.," he said on the red carpet. "I just did seven songs on her new album. We just locked in the studio and just vibed and we did seven incredible records."

Truffle french fry controversy aside, M.I.A. is still widely regarded in industry circles as one of the most inventive and progressive artists working today.

"She's just like really creative," Hit-Boy explained. "She's doing exactly what comes to her. That's why we were able to crank out that many songs."
