One week before their joint album is released, the gully duo of Guilty Simpson and Small Professor deliver one final preview track with the ghastly 'I'm The City.'

The 'Highway Robbery' neck-snapper is a fittingly titled collaboration with Boldy James, who shares stomping grounds with Simpson. For those unaware, that 'City' referred to in the track's title is Detroit, whose urban sprawl (and sadly, decay) has inspired a number of hip-hop greats over the years. Simpson included, of course, and it's likely that James will reach that level based on tracks like 'Moochie' off his upcoming album with Alchemist.

Not to be outdone, Statik Selektah makes a guest appearance toward the end of the track. He provides the slick turntable work that serves as a scratched-up outro, which boasts a familiar Common sample flip that complements the gruff verses and Small Pro's rattling production.

You can listen to 'I'm The City' below. 'Highway Robbery' drops Sept. 24.
