Gucci Mane and former No Limit founder Master P have announced a new film venture for fans to look forward to.

"I've always wanted to make a movie, something about my life, something about what I've seen," Gucci told The BoomBox. "When I think of those hood-classic films from the '90s I think of 'I'm Bout It' and 'I Got The Hook Up'... So it just made sense for me to reach out to Master P to help me make my movie."

According to Gucci, the partnership was easy. "I just walked up to him and told him... That's how I am," he told MTV. "I'm an open book."

Gucci previously paid homage to No Limit's legacy during the '2010 VH1 Hip Hop Honors: The Dirty South' awards show, performing a rendition of Master P's classic 'I Miss My Homies.'

Gucci Mane's third studio album, 'The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted' is in stores now.
