French Montana & Max B ‘Wave Gods’ Mixtape Is Available for Streaming

It’s time to get wavy. French Montana has finally released his Max B-hosted mixtape Wave Gods. The collection is now available for downloading and streaming.

The 13-song tape features several rap luminaries included Future, Travi$ Scott, Big Sean, Quavo, Kodak Black, A$AP Rocky and his Bad Boy Records boss Puff Daddy. Also, Max B is featured on the interludes cheering French on and thanking their fans for their support.

Among the standout tracks on the collection include the Kanye West and Nas-assisted banger "Figure It Out.” Over a downing piano groove and thumping beat, Yeezy provides the Auto-Tuned chorus (“No matter how much I try, I can’t lie to you”) as Frenchy gets introspective.

“Why Eazy ain’t have the Magic? / Why AR never want a trip? / And why God took Max and Chinx / And he ain’t take me when I got hit?” he raps.

Meanwhile, Nas explains that life is still not easy for him despite fame and fortune. “Hearing people whisper, screaming I’m lucky but trust me, nothing come free / Shawty tried to keep my son from me,” he raps, adding, “ I’m a G, I need privacy / Media’s never kind to me / N----s beefing on small time things, we on a dying spree.”

Other highlights includes the braggadocios banger "Miley Cyrus," the bass-heavy anthem "Man of the City," the funky "Lock Jaw," the gritty "Old Man Wildin'" and "Off the Rip" remix, which features A$AP Rocky and late Coke Boys rhymer Chinx.
