French Montana Hops on Bobby Shmurda’s Club Banger ‘Hot N—-‘

A few weeks after he gave a preview on Instagram, the full version French Montana's remix of Bobby Shmurda's 'Hot N---- has hit the Internet. The song is New York's biggest hit in a while, so it makes sense for the Bronx native to hop on it. The club-ready instrumental is right up his alley, too.

French Montana doesn't have the memorable one-liners or bits of biography that made the original version stick. ("Shmurda Dance on that p---" isn't going to catch on). He does match Shmurda's cocksureness and aggression -- whether he's referencing Chris Brown's 'Loyal' or talking about Diddy's recent sexual escapades.

Montana isn't just hopping on Shmurda's wave though. He's planning to release his new single "Don't Panic" on Aug. 12. His next project, Mac & Cheese 4,' is due out in November.

In the end, Bobby Shmurda's 'Hot N----' is still bumping in the clubs and Frenchy is going to find a way to top its success soon enough.
