Kanye West
has been keeping mum on the details of his upcoming 'Good Ass Job' album but if he chooses to sing, rapper Fat Joe won't be buying it. The Bronx native revealed in an interview that though he is a fan of West, he wasn't feeling the '808's & Heartbreaks' album in which the Grammy winner swopped out rapping for Auto-Tune-laced vocals.

"Kanye West is my favorite rapper," Joe said when asked if artists get pigeon-holed into one musical genre. "When he did the singing album ['808's & Heartbreaks'] I purposely didn't buy it. I was like, 'I'm protesting it, man. I'm boycotting it.' I ain't with that s---. I want the Kanye rapping about his moms, rapping about this s---." Despite Joe's lack of support, '808's & Heartbreaks' debuted atop the Billboard charts selling over 400,000 copies in its first week.

For months now West has been locked away at his home in Diamond Head, Hawaii putting the finishing touches on his fifth album. While there's no word yet on whether or not he will be singing, West is working with a group of legendary hip-hop producers including DJ Premier, RZA, and Q-Tip. 'Good Ass Job' is slated to hit stores in June.
