Erykah Badu Stars in New Givenchy Campaign

Erykah Badu is no doubt a timeless beauty. With her statuesque frame and gorgeous features, the singer has been named the new face of French fashion line Givenchy.

Style.com shares that the singer was picked by Givenchy Creative Director Riccardo Tisci to model the looks for Spring 2014. “Erykah, she’s an icon -- come on!” Tisci said. “What I want to do with my advertising campaign is spread the love. Already now it’s been three seasons that I’ve been using people that express something -- they are great artists, or beautiful women, or stylish women, or models that I really believe in. It’s kind of a family portfolio.”

Tisci admits that he wasn't very familiar with Badu, but he kept her image in mind when designing the collection. “She’s one of the most stylish women I’ve met in my life,” he explained. “She’s got such a good sense of proportion, of colors.”
