‘Empire’ Season 2 Trailer Is Here [VIDEO]

If you haven't stopped thinking about the season finale of Empire, you can breathe a little easier today because the first preview of season two is here.

While the sneak peek is only 30 seconds long, there are so many jaw-dropping moments that take place, which means the season two premiere on Sept. 23 can't come soon enough. The trailer starts off with Cookie, Andre and Anika walking down a hallway with Hakeem joining on his Hovertrax. Considering last season's plan to take back what's rightfully theirs, this quick scene shows that they mean business -- even though Hakeem doesn't have the same vengeful look in his eyes like the other three characters.

Perhaps that could be because the next bit highlights Hakeem in the studio working on new music and then there's a clip of him and Jamal performing at a #FreeLucious concert. While they aren't on the stage together, they're still there for the same cause -- their dad.

Andre is seen with Cookie beside him walking through the halls of what could be Empire Entertainment. While Anika looks like she has her own thing going on, but she makes an appearance in the teaser, which could mean she's on a mission to take back part of Empire.

The Empire sneak peek ends with a shot of Lucious sporting an orange suit, but who's there to see him? Cookie. We can only imagine what these two have to talk about, all while surrounded by security.

The new season is gearing up to be a special one with appearances from Alicia Keys, Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Kelly Rowland and Ludacris, among others.
