After much buzz surrounding the progress of Dr. Dre's long-awaiting third album, 'Detox,' we're finally hearing an update from the horse's mouth. "I'm just now - over the last couple of months - starting to feel that it's going to be right and it's something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it," Dr. Dre said in a recent interview. "In a perfect world, I'm shooting for a November or December release."

Dre fans can expect nothing but the best from the superproducer, but they should prepare themselves for a percussion-driven album. "We have an entirely new thing going with the drums that's incredible, and we're still developing that," Dre explains. The rapper/producer went on to reveal that Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and Nas will make guest appearances on 'Detox.'

And fans may want to treasure the rap star's upcoming project since Dre admits he doesn't plan on rolling out another album anytime in the near future. "I'm going to put this record out, promote it, tour and then become a hermit. I'm going to stay in the studio and produce."
