DMX, Rock the Bells 2012: Rapper Brings Out Drag-On, Gives Memorable Quote About Women’s Genitals

DMX, who served as the headliner for day one of the Rock the Bells festival held at PNC Bank Arts Center in New Jersey Saturday (Sept. 1), was the highlight of the event. Besides delivering a high energy set, he, of course, dropped more than one memorable quote during his talk with the crowd.

He ran onstage to his 2006 hit "We in Here," donning a blue shirt, black shades and black shorts. The crowd's response was roaring and welcoming. After a long day of performances, X brought the punch to the stage that the audience had waited for all day.

Fans stood behind him as he also moved through "Who We Be," from his fourth album, The Great Depression. He brought out Drag-On to assist him with the classic "Ruff Ryders Anthem" produced by Swizz Beatz.

X doesn't believe in the norm and during his set climbed onto a large speaker to the right of him. "Hey! Watch your head," a concerned fan yelled out to the rapper, in reference to a smaller speaker that hung right above it. Not paying attention, X hit his head on it but kept the show going.

After shouting out the ladies in the audience, he delivered "How's It Going Down?" and started removing some of his attire. He handed his T-shirt to a woman in the front, who didn't look excited about the gift at all.

The mood turned from sweet to sour when performing his "What You Want" originally featuring Dru Hill lead singer Sisqo.

Towards the end of his set, DMX got chatty and started serving words of wisdom to his longtime fans. "On some real shit, there's nothing, no feeling that I've experienced or witnessed that's more precious, exciting or fulfilling than being onstage," he shared. "Being onstage in front of this many people is better than pussy."

The crowd went bonkers during one of his biggest songs, "Party Up in Here," and the rapper showed his appreciation by grabbing fans who reached out to him on each side of the stage.

Before closing out the show, the lights dimmed as lighters went in the air to "Slippin'," from his second album, Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood.

He then gave a prayer and acknowledgement to Jesus once he was done.

"No matter where you at, he will find you, and help you leave the negative behind you," he rhymed in poetic fashion.
