DMX Pleads Guilty to Drug, Theft Charges
After several run-ins with the law over the course of a year, it looks like DMX just can't seem to keep himself out of hot water. The troubled rapper plead guilty to drug possession, animal cruelty and theft charges on Tuesday after dodging the authorities for much of 2008.
A sentencing hearing has been scheduled for Jan. 30 where additional charges are expected to be dropped. DMX has missed several court dates this past year, which resulted in a bench warrant being issued by a Maricopa County judge earlier this month. DMX was arrested on Dec. 9 while hiding out at producer Scott Storch's Florida mansion.
