DMX Misses Court Date, Judge Issues Bench Warrant
DMX is digging a bigger hole for himself. The rapper failed to show up for a pretrial hearing Tuesday related to his recent drug charges. The troubled rapper -- known for being substantially late to interviews, events and court dates -- was scheduled to appear in the Phoenix court, but is rumored to have checked himself into a rehabilitation facility.
According to reports, a judge issued a bench warrant for the rapper and increased his bond to $25,000 as a penalty for his absence. X, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is charged with one count of marijuana possession and four counts of drug paraphernalia possession, stemming from a raid on his Arizona home in May.
