DMX Extradited, Will Remain Behind Bars Pass Christmas

After what seems like an endless bout with authorities rapper DMX has been moved to an Arizona jail where he will face several charges. He was escorted across country from Miami's Dade County Jail to Maricopa County Jail Friday. According to X's attorney Bradford Cohen, he will remain behind bars during the Christmas holiday.

The rapper was originally apprehended in the Miami home of record producer Scott Storch earlier this month. Police received a lead to X's whereabouts from a citizen who tipped them off after a $5,000 reward was issued for information leading to his arrest.

X initially missed a court date in Arizona causing police to issue a warrant for his arrest. He faces charges such as identity theft and animal cruelty and is being held on $120,000 bond.
