Over the weekend, Diddy celebrated his 48th birthday and changed his name to Brother Love. Well, his new moniker must be rubbing off on Hollywood. The rap mogul received the Hollywood Documentary Award for Can’t Stop Won’t Stop at the 2017 Hollywood Film Awards on Sunday (Nov. 5).

The critically acclaimed documentary tells the story of Diddy’s rise of Bad Boy Records amid the backdrop of him organizing the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour.

According to XXL, Diddy gave a brief but heartfelt speech while receiving the honor, thanking those who worked on the film, such as his mentor Andre Harrell, Live Nation's Heather Parry, as well as his mother and six children.

"This is truly an honor to be on this stage and with such great company," he said. "I just want to say congratulations to all the honorees. I'm from Harlem, New York, so this is truly... we have a saying, 'From Harlem to Hollywood,' and I guess I have arrived and it feels good."

Diddy also told the crowd that he was in Mexico for three days drinking tequila and is still feeling the after effects of it. So he accepted his award and bounced.

Congratulations to Diddy, uh, Brother Love, on your honor. Next stop -- the Oscars.
