Gamers are getting ready to dive into Def Jam's new 'Rapstar,' which will now be released in the U.S. on October 5. In addition to recent ads for the hip-hop karaoke game that feature incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne, developers have announced a final tracklist that adds another series of exclusive beats from some of today's top producers. Those beatmakers include 9th Wonder, Drake-favorite Boi-1da, Cool & Dre and DJ Khalil.

There's also a new batch of songs, which brings the final tally to 46 bangers on which gamers can show-off their rapping skills. New songs include 'Brass Monkey' by the Beastie Boys, Kanye West's 'Stronger,' 'Gin and Juice' by Snoop Dogg, Biggie's 'Big Poppa,' 'It Takes Two' by Rob Base, as well as submissions by N-Dubz, Roots Manuva, So Solid Crew and Soulja Boy. Yes, there's pretty much something for everyone.

To recap, the game will allow users to rhyme and sing live and record the fruits of their labor on console cameras. Users can then upload their gems to an official website where other gamers and fans will vote on their favorites from the pool of submissions. The game features different modes, which include career (single player), battle (multiplayer), duet (friend collaboration), rapping (a Guitar Hero-esque rating game), practice and video editing.
