Cypress Hill Create an ‘Uprising’ With 25-Track Mixtape

Fresh off the release of their latest album 'Rise Up,' West Coast hip-hop group Cypress Hill are dropping the accompanying 'Uprising' mixtape. Boasting 25 tracks, the record is hosted by Peter Rosenberg, of New York City's Hot 97 radio station, and features previous Cypress Hill recordings like 'Insane in the Membrane' and 'How I Could Just Kill a Man.'

Aside from their own music, 'Uprising' also holds remixes and covers from hip-hop notables. Jim Jones contributes on a 2010 version of 'I Wanna Get High,' as well as Redman, Sheek Louch, Noreaga and Styles P on other tracks. Newcomers Yelawolf and Asher Roth rap on 'Ain't Goin Out Like That' and 'Stoned Is Way of the Roth,' respectively.

The group recently made headlines for showing their opposition to the Arizona immigration law by refusing to perform in the state. They will however be heading out on a European tour before making it down to Australia, all in promotion of 'Rise Up' which hit stores April 20. 'Uprising' is available for free download here.
