Having spent the last year and change sharpening his skills through a number of impressive guest verses -- Joey Bada$$'s 'Hardknock,' Dyme-A-Duzin's 'Swank Sinatra,' MeLo-X's 'Live From East Flatbush' -- Pro Era's CJ Fly steps into the spotlight with his debut solo mixtape, 'Thee Way Eye See It.'

Weighing in at 18 tracks long, it's a lengthy and ambitious first try from the young Brooklyn rapper, but a surprisingly consistent one at that. The project is permeated with Golden Age influences and imitations, similar to previous Pro Era releases, but CJ proves he's more than capable of carrying a song without assistance.

With that said, contributions from Joey Bada$$, Ab-Soul, Buckshot, Erick Arc Elliott and Phife Dawg of A Tribe Called Quest don't hurt the cause. Stream and download 'Thee Way Eye See It' below.
